Read on for a deeper understanding of each herb’s unique qualities and how you can incorporate it into your cooking and daily life. Let’s dig in and play with chives! Find links to the other herbs at the bottom of this page.

Cooking

Chives are versatile herbs with a mild onion and garlic flavor that can enhance dishes in various ways. Belonging to the same family as onions, leeks, and garlic, chives offer a milder taste that complements dishes without overpowering. Some examples are omelets, baked potatoes, creamy sauces, and salad dressings. Add them toward the end of cooking tp preserve their freshness. When incorporating chives in cooking, experiment to find exciting flavor combinations and enhance dishes.

Garnishing

Chives are great for garnishing, adding a fresh burst of flavor and a pop of color to your meals. Chives are ideal for use in salads, soups, sauces, and dips due to their mild and slightly sweet taste.
